Graphical Projectile Motion

Frank was asking about projectile motion without components. Here is a ball is shot into the air with initial velocity vi, accelerating for 3 seconds.

    If I’m looking at this right, v1 is vi+g, so the students have to transfer a vector over and up a little. I would guess that’s the hardest part, huh?

      Yeah, and if you don’t do it step by step… but rather find average velocity for whole time, then you don’t even need to translate.
